Don and Paula, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Seek Design & Renovation began with the owner’s shared passion to provide the best-personalized customer service, top-notch craftsmanship and to treat everyone like we would want to be treated. Our expectations were to have a customer driven business and to receive referrals from customer word of mouth based on their experience in working with us. We are now an award-winning design & remodeling company based on client reviews and attribute our ten (10) years of success in maintaining these simple but effective values.
Seek Design & Renovation is co-owned by Paula Palm and Don Prine. Paula has owned and operated several successful businesses’ and wanted to bring more of a feminine touch to the predominately male-oriented construction industry with the same commitment to customer service. She manages the daily business and heads the interior design & decorating services. Don is a proud Army Veteran and a second generation master carpenter. Don has been in residential construction for 40 plus years in the greater Houston area and manages jobs from start to finish.
Along with our professional office staff and our highly skilled crews, altogether we are the experts in the construction industry. Sometimes, we have to pinch ourselves, as we didn’t think that the company was going to grow like it has. We believe that hard work, great service, and integrity equals success!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
With any business, there are bumps in the road but with perseverance and dedication to our customers, we have overcome those struggles along the way.

Seek Design & Renovation provides remodeling & restoration services to the Greater Houston area. We have built our legacy on total project management from start to finish. We specialize in all phases of construction and building back properties who have suffered water, flood or fire damage. Our future plans are to continue doing what we are currently doing, which is to have happy, satisfied clients! We are focusing on building back many homes in the Greater Houston area that were destroyed during hurricane Harvey.
