Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Regina Bailey.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Dr. Regina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am an Emergency Medicine Physician, Hospital Medical Director, Lawyer, Fitness Expert, Former NFL Cheerleader, Author, and Motivational Speaker. I received a BA in Molecular Biology from Hampton University, JD from Georgetown University, MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine, and Masters in Health Law from the University of Houston Law Center.
I completed an Internship in General Surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed Emergency Medicine Residency at the Baylor College of Medicine. I currently practice Emergency Medicine in Houston, TX.
I have published books and articles in the health law, biotechnology and medical fields. I am a 2-time best-selling author. I starred in an episode of Untold Stories of the ER that aired on TLC, and the Discovery Life Channel. I have also appeared on CNN, and the E! Channel. I have been published in the New York Times, US News, Medscape, Huffington Post and Ebony Magazine.
As a former NFL Cheerleader for the Washington Redskins, I am a member of the Science Cheerleaders, a group of current and former professional cheerleaders with STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) careers that tour the country encouraging young women to pursue science-related careers. I have won multiple fitness contests and am a professional bikini athlete with the International Physique League.
I am also the creator of a fitness company “Fit and Fine in No Time” where I offer weight loss products, nutritional supplements, and fitness equipment. I am also the owner of Finesse Med Spa in South Houston where I offer revolutionary, non-surgical Laser Fat Reduction Techniques.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Starting your my own business is one of the hardest things done but very rewarding as well.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about “Fit and Fine in no Time” and “Finesse Med Spa” – what should we know?
Fit and Fine in no Time is a company that has liquid vitamins (sugar-free, vegan), weight loss products, nutritional supplements and exercise equipment. My company is set apart from others in that all my supplements were formulated by myself, a medical doctor.
After my mother passed away two years ago from complications of diabetes, hypertension and kidney failure, I decided I needed to change my lifestyle if I wanted to be around to care for and raise my young daughter. I hired a nutritionist and personal trainer and got in beast mode. I lost 30 pounds.
I started competing in fitness contests and when other women saw my pictures, they would message me about how I inspired them to change their lifestyle as well. I am a single mother, work 24-hour shifts as an ER doctor, but took a no excuses approach to losing weight and becoming healthier. So that motivated me to start my company.
Finesse Med Spa is located within the PressNFlex Gym in South Houston. My MedSpa currently offers laser fat reduction using a revolutionary, non-surgical, pain freeway with no scars or downtime.
