The Story Behind Black Horse Fabrications Black Horse Fabrications was founded by a United States Marine Corps veteran who understands firsthand the bond between those who serve. After service, that mission turned into a craft. What started as a personal project quickly grew into a purpose-driven business focused on creating memorial items that carry real meaning for veterans, families, and supporters across the country.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. It started as a hobby. First Not having the right equipment. Having to work around the equipment I had at the time. It didn’t stop friends from asking for more the though. The struggle to find the right equipment took me into building lasers. Here I spent a few years learning the ends and outs of modifying Chinese lasers and I started making plaques for friends and 501c orgs. Burned up a few lasers and the hobby went cold for a year. in late 2024 I decided to jump back in the hobby but this time run it full scale from home. I knew nothing of the struggles I was about to endure. Learning how to build and operate a website and run a successful marketing campaign to try to get a few orders in. The struggle is real and sometimes it’s a gamble of all that marketing money spent and the responses you hoped for not coming in. I knew my community so I started there. The Military / Veteran / Law Enforcement / First Responders. That’s where I built my network.

What were you like growing up?
Stayed to myself. Honestly I was picked on a lot as a kid for being different. So it gave me a lot of time to sit with myself and get creative with both music and art. I was a Band and ROTC geek in High School. Then started my military path after highschool.
