Today we’d like to introduce you to Edwin Rose.
Edwin, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was raised by my Grand Parents but my parents, as well as my Aunts and Uncles, were also active in my life. They taught my brother and I to stay educated and always reach toward our dreams. As a child, I had a dream to be an Actor. I participated in various church and school plays but decided I wanted to get more on the creative side.
After going to a few Youth Camps I got very interested in Film Making. That is what led me to attend Texas Southern University where I majored in Radio, Television and Film and received my Bachelor of Arts. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset from watching my Grand Mother and Uncle. This is what led me to start my business.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
For the most part, it has been an adventurous ride but there have been challenges. Some of the biggest struggles were acquiring and maintaining equipment. Despite that, I have managed to get what I needed and continue to move forward.

Bespoke Images & Photography is a company that covers all aspects of media production including photography, video production, cinematography and photo printing lab. We also provide mentoring for young entrepreneurs. We specialize in photography and media production. We are known for giving a quality product at an affordable price.
I am most proud for being able to mentor various aspiring entrepreneurs to start and be successful with their respective media businesses. I am proud to see the joy on a clients face when they receive their product. We live by our slogan “We have fun on our shoots”. We customize each clients experience based on their vision.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am currently working to raise funds to travel to Ghana to shoot the first of a series of documentary films which will require traveling abroad and locally. I’m looking forward to launch an all-inclusive photo subscription plan for those needing studio pictures to help fund the films.
