Meet Eros

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eros.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My roots are East African, but I was raised in Sugarland. My family and close friends truly shaped my musical influence. My mom had a club off Bissonett and 59 that really pushed me into doing music. I still remember that all white Bentley parked outside her club one night. She and her partner were doing business with Horseman, and I’ve never seen the place so packed. I was too young to know it was Pimps, but that was the energy I was blessed to be surrounded by.

I started out rapping in Ohio during College and did some cool stuff internationally. When I moved back home my brothers, PlayboyWatts & Bobby Earth pushed me to focus 100 percent on singer-songwriting. I’ve been on that path ever since.

Please tell us about your art.
I make R&B soul music. I team logic 100 percent; the workflow just makes sense. The message is about all about love. I’m super grateful that people enjoy what I do because everything I write about is real. It’s all a release.

We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
Yeah! Live on your socials and don’t be afraid to dig or reach out to folks. Always be willing to give, and you will receive!

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
All streaming platforms. Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Tidal. Pick your poison. All you have to do is search Eros Stratus or Eros R&B/Soul.
