Today we’d like to introduce you to Ethan Ryman.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ethan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
This is a story of you. I realized the life we all live is similar. The step by the step process in which we take. Who are you? What will you do in life to make a difference? My character deprives from ambition and depth meaning of a true hustler. How I made it out step by step and where I am now is only the beginning. My name is Ethan Ryman “this is the story of you”.
I was born in Houston Texas, September 1997. My mother age of 22 at the time was young but excited to have her first and only boy. My father had left before I was born so I never got to know him. Single mother of 3, my mother was a prime example of work ethic and perseverance. Growing up, I lived in a small town about 1 hour away from Houston. Agriculture, industrial work, and the true meaning of blue-collar life is all this place embodied of. As a kid, I always was an innovator. I came up with ideas, creating and putting together something just off a thought. I remember in 5th grade, I put together a comic book series and began selling them for 1.75 cents each. Laminated, printed, and published I already grossed 20 bucks my first week. This caught the eyes of the school administration and shut down my operation my first week of profit. Teenage year’s work ethic and being the “Man of the house” is all I knew. Starting work at 16 was nothing new to me to have that go get it mentality. Having ups and downs of the struggle, hard times, and the grind is something I was not unfamiliar of. Graduating high school, turning 18 I had so many questions and I was on my own.
No father, zero college graduates in my family, and a small town with no culture, or “Life”. I knew I was destined for more. At 19, I had to work my way up in life and started a local junior college. I began working at a construction job day in and out I was going to class early in the morning, and I remember working seven days a week at least 60-70 hours in. My grades begun to plummet because I had no time to focus on college. I seen the way people lived here and I had to make a change. I began my first business LIFTSZN, a fitness apparel “clothing for the ambitious”. I was calling vendors and making sales in between class and my brutal construction job. At 20, I found out who I was supposed to be in life. Decided to stop half stepping when I got tired of working and being in the loop of life. So, I put my best foot forward and began fully indulging in my gifts. What set it off, was me being sent home early one day at work for showing up 10 minutes late, this time instead if feeling down, I messaged an individual the name of Edward, he was a Houston known realtor an inspirational. He messaged me back and said he was available that day to show me an open house. We sat down at a Starbucks and from that day I was opened to the like-minded, creative thinkers, and entrepreneurship I was no longer a 1 of 1. His words spoke power to me and after going back to the construction job, I knew I had to act!
I had to leave for Oklahoma 2 weeks after the meeting, for another job that paid more but even harder work. I messaged The Midas group and applied for their internship program. Knowing this would get my foot in the door for who I wanted to be, I got an email. I started my journey with an internship opportunity with The Midas Group. Miko, Tay Mitch, and Sierra. CEOs, innovators, and influencers. I was brought to amazing events, meeting great people, and becoming who I was meant to be. Out of all the interns, I made it apart from the rest a hustler.
Introduced to another lifestyle, I seen greatness. The first event I went too was unlike any place a small kid could imagine. CEO’s, business moguls, champagne, NFL players, etc. I was starstruck but felt no different from the rest even with my small city background. Learning so many aspects and finding my niche in this lifestyle, I was able to create businesses, build my network, and portfolio. From a small-town kid to being in the city with the dons. Learning everything I can, chasing my dreams this what it was about. Today I am grateful the journey of life has to offer. Work ethic from a vigorous construction job, family generational dreams, and great friends who will bring you to new aspects of what this world has to offer. “The story of you” is not who I have become but knowing the trials and tribulations that build you instead of breaking you. Find greatness in yourself, surround yourself with the like-minded, and chase your dreams.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I faced many struggles on the way to become the person I am. Perseverance, faith, and hard-work seem simple to accomplish but when facing huge obstacles I had to learn to take on the challenge.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My definition of success is being able to create the lifestyle you want and with it being who you are. Not being in the make-shift job you hate but creating a vision and dream you see. Not giving up when you face adversity, and most of all having the power to change the life of others.
