Today we’d like to introduce you to Ginger Williams.
Ginger, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I attended Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. I learned how to code for web sites in 1994 and chronicled band festivals I went to and the music scene in Atlanta, Georgia. I was a small business web designer for Bellsouth Yellow Pages, then worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, providing graphic design for data research.
In 2006, I moved to Texas to be closer to family. I decided to become a freelance web designer after realizing that the Clear Lake area is a growing business community with a great need for graphic and web design and marketing. I created Lucky Ace Web Design and named it this for my love of rockabilly/hotrod culture and the notion that small businesses are taking a gamble to be fortunate in their new endeavor. I hope to contribute to that notion for small businesses in the area!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a smooth road. I have steady customers who have been with me from the very beginning, including the Bayview Duck and Noah’s Ark Bar & Grill, Align Pro and Clear Lake Movers.
