So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We’re a locally owned neighborhood bakery that’s been servicing The Woodlands for the past 6 years with our delicious baked goods. Our slogan: cupcakes and more will not cover all the wonderful products we have on our menu. We were first known for our Cupcakes and then for our amazing Sugar Iced Cookies. We also have Chocolate Chip Cookies and Texas Sheet Cakes plus Specialty Cakes by special order.
Our business started as a small cupcake shop that serviced the community and it now can cater big corporate events and make your dream wedding cake.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As a small local business the biggest challenge so far has probably been surviving the big chain competition that has spread throughout the area. Although, our customers keep coming back to us to experience that personal atmosphere our store gives and to taste our home tasting goods.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Frost Bake Shoppe – what should we know?
We’re so proud of all our products but I will say our best seller are the Sugar Iced Cookies. People will drive in from as far as downtown Houston to get them, or even call us to have them shipped anywhere in the US. There’s no shower, birthday party or corporate event without a Frost cookie!

We’re a community based business, we work tightly with our community schools and sports teams to try to support them as much as possible as they support us too.
