Today we’d like to introduce you to Gus Zepeda and Martha Ruiz.
Gus and Martha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started finding the perfect detail for a very special occasion. I considered myself passionate about design and the pretty things in life. What could be more perfect than flowers? Flower therapy can be the cure to many occasional issues, so why not bring it out! From one design to the next one, it just kept getting better and better. Talent is a gift of life and if you can use it to bring joy and cure to others, it just fulfills my heart. I believe in caring and giving the most of you to others. To tell you a little bit more about Bloom & Box, the project started in our home garage. Mother’s Day was approaching, so why not give it a chance and see what life could bring, creating beautiful flower designs. A few days before the day, honestly nervous and unprepared, I ran to a nearby craft store and to a local flower shop to stock our journey up and ever since here we are. Using online resources and tools, but not knowing a thing about it, I developed myself the web site www.bloomandboxflowers.com, literately overnight, and launched it just on time one day before Mother’s Day. After the launch, I began managing social media, marketing and making contact with friends and family to announce the newly born project. God’s plans can never go wrong, late summer 2019 as I was driving down Rise Village area, I looked around and saw the empty corner box vacant which not sits our storefront. Along the way I called Martha, honestly the best choice I’ve ever made, I told her about the project, then not too far after, she joined the journey and became such a fundamental part of Bloom & Box. I don’t feel alone in this project because I feel that I’ve partnered with an extraordinary designer and friend. Our journey has been amazing so far, but we can’t wait for what’s next to come.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Honestly, I believe that when you do what you love, there is no obstacles. We are passionate about what we do and our biggest challenge is to keep bringing joy to all our current and future clients.

At Bloom & Box, we strive to provide the best in all aspects, designs, quality, and customer service. We want to be a multifaceted florist. We want to create floral designs for all clients, for any occasion.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our future plan is to keep growing and to incorporate as many designers as possible. This will help us to keep providing our clients with the most outstanding services as possible.
