Meet Hayley Beck

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hayley Beck.

Hi Hayley, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I got involved in the animal field in 2019 when I started working in rescues. Little did I know then I’d be where I am now. It sparked a passion in me that I had no idea needed sparking. Since the rescue, I have worked at animal boarding and daycare facilities. I opened my dog training business because I wanted to help dog owners with their pets. I have two dogs who struggle with anxiety and fear, so I know how hard it can be! I wanted to be able to assist people who need help as well so they can know they aren’t alone. I went and got educated prior to opening my doors as well. My goal is to better the relationship between owner and dog. And so no one has to feel like they’re struggling with their dog’s behavior like I felt with mine prior to all this!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. Marketing and getting my name out there has been hard work! Finances play a big role as well when opening your own business! I had no idea what I was getting myself into with that, but I kept pushing cause I knew I could make it happen!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I offer a number of training options, from basic obedience to reactivity in dogs. I would say my strongest suit is reactivity and socialization. It gives me an amazing feeling to see a dog learn good behavior and transform into the good boy/girl that they have the potential to be. What sets me aside is my passion and my heart for these animals. I put my all into everything I do and always treat each client’s dog like my own.

Alright, so before we go, can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Training together! I would love to get my name out there more as well because I feel like I have a good heart for these animals and I’m very dedicated to my work.
