Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Niederhofer.
Family business started by siblings Trevor Brown and Heather to escape the oil field and do something really fun. They brewed for years in a garage, honing recipes, water chemistry, and determining ideal yeast strain.
They are five years in now from their first official keg sale and growing rapidly.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Pretty smooth. Equipment malfunction and electrical wiring have been the largest hurdles.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Lone Pint Brewery – what should we know?
I know it’s cliche now, but we love our IPA’s. We make well balanced hoppy ales that even hop haters have come to love. Yellow Rose IPA has been known to change many opinions.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
The local beer community/ breweries have been a great assistance along the way. We’re all here to build up craft together.
