Imporis, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a person, I have always been the one with two jobs to survive or provide what I wanted and needed for myself. I eventually started to think about my future and my calling as an entrepreneur. In the near future, I want to purchase my first home, get married and eventually bring a healthy baby into this world. But I never wanted to bring a baby or start a family empty-handed, with nothing solid to build from.
Many people don’t know this, but I once had very low self-esteem, feeling as though I wasn’t pretty enough, but hated to wear makeup everyday! So I started to think, what do I like? What do I wear a lot of? What makes me beautiful? So thinking long and hard, what can I disrupt the beauty industry with? I began to research eyelashes! Why not?! They are apart of my everyday routine. I wear them daily and in addition, I would also get eyelash extensions when I had time. For me, all I needed was eyelashes and lip gloss or lipstick! “Ohhh yeesssss!!!!” For me, that motivated me to start my own lash line! I wanted to give others the opportunity to feel the fierce luster they desire, to feel just as beautiful as I do!

I am now in school to become a licensed lash extensionist! Which means I will be adding new services for all interested in eyelash extensions and plan to learn and create different looks as I excel in the beauty industry.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I believe every road has a bit of a challenge, but I am remaining positive! I refuse to stick on the negative. One of the struggles I am having now is juggling work, school and expanding a business. But I know it will all be worth it in the end.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I believe I would have start school for eyelash extensions maybe two or three years ago. But it’s now or never!
