Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac Rushing.
Isaac, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, Urban Bubbleball was an idea that my business partner Ulysses Grady had back in 2017. At the time I was driving 18 wheelers across country and for me I just wanted to spend sometime at home finally prior to that I was in the navy for five years and going from the military to being away from home again on the road this time I saw it as the perfect opportunity for me to step out on faith and tap into the entrepreneur lifestyle. So we started Urban Bubbleball a Bubbleball soccer a fun outdoor or indoor sport for kids teens and adults. Adults and teens seem to have the most fun. I mean think about it we provide the opportunity for you to knock your spouse or your friends around as hard as you want without getting hurt its a great stress reliever and team building game. We service Church groups, companies, birthday parties, private events and more. We’ve been featured on the TLC show OutDaughtered since then and things have really been taking off for us.
As far as what’s gotten us to where we are today it’s simple putting God 1st and putting in the work behind it. CBDiatrics is a CBD company that myself and two other friends of mine started a year ago. Just like Ulysses we all were in Highschool together and we wanted to find away to bring awareness to the medicinal properties of using CBD as well help populate the number of black-owned businesses in Houston and in that particular field. With the new laws that are coming into play its only a matter of time before CBD will be the new but better big Pharma industry. We have products like body butters or lotions, honey, lip balm, bath salts and tinctures this company is fairly new but we strive to be a household name to come soon.
Has it been a smooth road?
Being in the Bubbleball soccer business is kind of hard. The city of Houston has so many regulations on organized sports it was hard in the beginning to find a place to hold games. Luckily we’ve teamed up with a few soccer field owners that don’t mind us holding our games and events at their locations, and we are currently looking for a location to call our own with an indoor field.

Urban Bubbleball is one of Houston’s first Bubbleball soccer companies. People love to strap on these big life-size hampster balls and knocking each other around while playing a game of intense soccer, we offer other games like last man standing and heads up each game is sure to knock your socks off while getting the best workout you could get while having tons of fun at the same time. We specialize in Fun simply put people love our games. We are proud of the smiling faces people get when they see us especially the kids it’s like their whole word just went haywire.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The next 5-10 years, I see Urban Bubbleball being bigger than Urban Air we have some changes and some new innovative ideas in mind to change up the game but we can’t just give those away yet let’s just wait and see. CBDiatrics we will definitely be one of the top CBD producers and distributors in Houston in the near future.
