Meet Isis Reed of Ultimate Beauty of America Pageant in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isis Reed.

Isis, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up in pageants starting at the age of four. I hold 4 State titles in Alaska, 1 title in Houston (Miss TeXas Southern 07-08), Director of Miss Juneteenth Baytown Pageant, and National Assistant Director of Miss Ultimate Beauty of America Pageant System. My passion for pageantry and commitment to mentor to the youth initiated my partnership and position as Assistant Director to the BEST pageant system in the state of Texas. I believe it’s important and necessary for EVERY little girl to participate in pageants to encourage confidence and poise.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. Directing and Coordinating Pageants take time and financial resources. We planned for almost two years before executing our first pageant in spring of 2019. In that time, I was completing my Master’s program, filming three movies for my production company, and not to mention I am a mother, wife, and active member of the first and finest sorority (AKA). These all require a lot of attention and time. Additional challenges included recruiting contestants.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ultimate Beauty of America Pageant – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Emphasizing beauty, style, scholarship and community service, the Miss Ultimate Beauty of America® is a personal development opportunity for women of all nations. The contestants who become part of the Miss Ultimate Beauty of America pageant® gain confidence, style, and poise in an increasingly competitive world. The pageant affords each contestant the opportunity to grow and flourish her personal, and career goals while acting as a star role model in her community and beyond. We are most proud of the growth and accomplishments of our queens. What sets us apart is our commitment and dedication to the organization and the participants.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, we see growth from a national pageant system to an international pageant system reaching more young ladies and women around the globe.
