Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacinda Lahrmann.
Jacinda, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a child, my friends would come to me for advice. I would always be the one who had sound advice to give. In 2013 I obtained a counseling certification from The International Christian Institute & Linguistics School and now onto a Board-Certified Belief Therapist from the Therapon Institute in 2019. I have been counseling for years. I also hold a Grief Share program at First Church Heights. I offer a Winter and Summer session. These classes are 13 weeks each. I have a passion to help those who are grieving because in 2008, I lost both of my parents one day apart and it was horrible. But God! He kept me so that I may help others and for that, I am humbled and thankful.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road is never smooth but I must say it has not been very difficult. The reason I say that is because I know that I am operating in my gift of counseling. It is something that activates in me everyday.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Healthy Transition Counseling story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a Christian Counselor who cares about her clients. I am “Your Mobile Counselor” I make sure I am available for my clients therefore I offer phone sessions and mobile sessions, I specialize in grief counseling but I also cover other areas such as depression, shame, regret, relationship issues, life changes and anxiety, I am most proud of my company because of its unique services! Healthy Transition Counseling not only counsels those in need I pray for our clients, fast for them, I really want to help those in need. Counseling is always good and sometimes needed but prayer is a must and I want the best outcome for everyone.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I expect the industry to become more viable with in the next 5-10 years. The reason being is because the world is stressed and often mislead. The word of God stays the same and will stay the same forevermore. Therefore, I believe Christian Counseling will become more demanding in the upcoming future.
