Meet Jaimee Cole

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaimee Cole.

Hi Jaimee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first started my fitness journey in 2014 with my first personal trainer. My initial reason to work out was to get into shape because I recently graduated from Prairie View University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. As we all know, it is easily to gain weight throughout college. I gained a few extra pounds and more than I liked. Throughout 2014 I changed my diet and began to see results. I stop using my first trainer and just manage dieting. Of course, I fell off and gained weight and became comfortable. In 2017 I started my fitness journey again this time I stuck with it and continued to faithfully work out till this day. Throughout the years, I batted with anxiety, depression, death, and heartbreak and found fitness to help me overcome all of these things, especially my anxiety and depression. Now in 2022, I have started a fitness clothing line for women in February 2022 and also started my own journey to become a fitness trainer in June 2022.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. Initially figuring out how to become a businesswomen is hard especially if no one around you has the same desires or experience. Some of my struggles have been knowing my customers and what they desire. Other struggles I have faced has been not believing in myself or receiving the support you want from certain people. Lastly, it is hard to fund a business on your own with little experience.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started my fitness journey in 2014. Although I’m not an expert yet, the start of my fitness and wellness certification will assist me in knowing the ends and the outs of fitness. I am most proud of having my own fitness line started and created by me with all my own ideas.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Find a mentor, someone with you same desires and a similar business as you.
