I am a graduate of University of Texas Allied Health Sciences and own certifications in Indian Classical Kathak dance and Indian classical vocal music. I love playing percussions harmonium and Tabla.
After working in the medical field as a medical technologist and then raising three beautiful children I pursued my passion by promoting the value of creativity in today’s entertainment world. As board members on several organizations for last 12 years. I volunteered by organizing Entertainment community events like pageants, fashion shows, and dance competitions Now…
As a CEO and founder of Jaz Creationz, which is an international Fashion entertainment Production company, and a School of Fashion modeling and dancing with Public speaking and physical fitness program. Jc was driven by genuine passion, which provides therapy through movements. Teaching modeling and dancing HELP ME FIND balance within my soul which makes me FEEL Balanced within my Body.
Dance is a universal language. No matter what lang you speak, dance can speak to you. and I want to be able to speak to people around the world through movement whether it is fashion, dance be it joy and pain or everything in between. Fashion and dance have had the powerful connection between the two. They both have inspired one another. Our company is inspired with this connection. And teaching Fashion Modeling and Dancing makes me feel connected with myself. I crave that connection constantly.
What inspires me more than anything and what is most important to me is inspiring others especially women and kids to make them realize that passion is not only about commitment, it’s about meaning and, just as important it’s about fun. What I offer for these women and kids is a safe, nurturing, and non Judgmental environment where they can be free to be who they are.
Free to express what’s in their hearts, fields of interests and to live in the free zone. In fact, they are more likely to be attached to giving rather than receiving through a Nonprofit organization and they will understand the meaning of giving. It is what drives me daily.
Being on the board of Interfaith Ministries, I saw the need of helping NON-Profit Organization to raise money by building bridges through Fashion and Culture and Yes by inspiring others to Feel, to Connect, to Create, to Believe in themselves and to grow.
That concludes by sharing my company Jaz Creationz mission- to raise funds by building bridges within the Indo American communities through Fashion and Culture.
Has it been a smooth road?
I think one f the greatest struggles I have faced is finding the will t actively pursue a career where you are constantly being told that you need experience in BUSINESS and people will take advantage of you. We need to accept that we won’t always make the right decisions. I screwed up by investing my hard earned money on some speakers who ensured me to take my business to the next level.
We all screw up sometimes in our life -When mistakes were made, I took a moment to consider and absorbed it, learned from it and then shook it off and got ready for the next play. We need to understand that failure is not the opposite of success. it’s part of success. There is no elevator to success. you have to take stairs. The reality of this industry is that not everyone makes it, in fact, most people don’t. And for the people that do, no one ever tells you about the 15 years it takes to become an overnight success.
Behind every successful woman is herself. I am as leader as a Leo a Lion can be, and I will fight every single day of my dreams to make a positive impact on the world through my work as an artist. Success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s life. And I am on that road.
