Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Naderi.
Jasmine, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a dentist of 16 years. I began as a Pre-Med student in love with science. Halfway through it, I realized that it was not for me. My amazing Dentist, Dr. Fulton, provided me with guidance toward my career in Dentistry. I will forever be grateful to him because every day, going to work is a pleasure and not a burden.
I am a single mother of two handsome boys. Joseph is 16 and Kameron is 15. They both attend Austin HS and are amazing students. They are the force behind my drive to be better every day.
My career is also my hobby. To me, this is a rare gift God has blessed me with. My patients are very important to me and that is why caring for them the best I can is also as important.
Since my children are older and more independent, I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own practice.
I was so tired of doing what I love under the standards of someone else. To me providing the best patient care is the most important part, and now I can do that.
I hope to make my children proud of me one day.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I have had anything but a smooth road. My life as a dentist started in dental school where I also got married. It was also where I lost my first baby.
After graduation and two very difficult pregnancies, I worked for some not very patient-oriented clinics where I refused to lower my standards for.
I opened my first private practice, a few months into it, my life got more unstable with a difficult divorce and loss of business.
Single mom and broke, I started from 0 and have built myself up ever since. Many obstacles have tried to prevent me from moving forward, but I refused to allow them.
I am here today because of God, hard work, and an amazing family.

My business is Best Dental. It is a dental practice that focuses on providing the best dental care the patients deserve.
We provide family dentistry, cosmetics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implants.
I am proud of my company because it cares about the patient more than the bottom line.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I am following the journey that God has put forth for me. I am better and stronger because of it. I would not change anything nor do I ever question it.
