Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Osborne.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I started as a music producer and through music I found a passion for photography. My artists needed great content for their brands and I started taking pictures of them in the studio and during performances. The photography took over, I no longer produce and I shoot full time now. I also host a YouTube channel that offers tutorials and photography related content!
Please tell us about your art.
I am mainly a portrait photographer. I specialize in fashion, editorial and beauty. But I also shoot weddings and events as well as lifestyle photography. I pretty much try to have a clean artistic style with natural beauty as the showcase.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
Getting paid! People who aren’t artists always want great art for free. It’s a struggle because we work really hard on our crafts and want to make a living doing what were good at. It can be hard to survive but it is possible with innovative ideas, perseverance, and hard work.
