Thanks for sharing your story with us Jay. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was doing nails in 16 years and I just moved to Houston about 2 years ago. I do work at one nail salon in Sugar Land, TX 77479 for almost a year, then I decide to look for a location in Sugar Land to open nail business. Well, to be honest it is very tough to open a nail business, not just it takes a lot of time and there are other nail salon in every corner nowadays. Now, it’s been 16 months since we open and I’m glad we did pass the toughest times, now we are doing very good. There’s ONLY one goal to be successful in business, that is to follow: Service have to be on top – clients felt so happy when they walk out the salon.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has never been a smooth road when you’re in tough competition with nails business, most struggles I got is I put lot of time in here. I work 7 days a week, like 14 days straight at times.
Venice Nails & Spa – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
In Venice Nails & Spa, we do nails, dipping powder, shellac manicure, and spa pedicure.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
We were very successful on dipping powder. I was very proud of that because when clients walks in and out of the salon, they won’t smell odor of any nail liquor.
