Jehu, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up with a father in the air conditioning business and started personally working in the industry in Tennessee when I turned 18. Slowly working my way through the ranks, and proving myself at a young age. After learning skills working at other companies, whether it was installation, service, maintenance or sales, it was then when I took my skills and started my own company in Conroe, Texas. Affordable Air Repair focuses on treating the client with the highest standards and integrity in mind. It is our job to educate the people on how proper air conditioning should be installed, serviced and maintained, all while keeping it at an affordable price.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have definitely been obstacles along the journey to a successful, thriving business. I did not go to college for business, so there has been a learning curve. I like to say I went to the school of hard knocks. The experience was my teacher, and I have gained a lot of business knowledge along the way. It has truly made me a stronger business person and has helped me become more in tune with the day to day tasks of running a business.

Affordable Air Repair is a licensed residential and commercial HVAC company. We specialize in all things related to heating and air conditioning, custom duct design, system replacement, system maintenance, system repairs, indoor air quality, duct and dryer vent cleaning, blown-in insulation, and attic stair replacement. My wife has been with me when we started this from day one and has continued to show me unconditional support through the late nights in the summer months. She continues to put in countless hours being our social media director and coordinator, and she also volunteers her time leading a networking chapter to help support local businesses in the Woodlands, TX area, and is an educator to young minds. I am also thankful for my family, who have believed in me since the beginning of this journey in life.
