Jennifer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I began my journey in this industry 13 years ago as a hair stylist before finding my calling in the art of brow sculpting and hair removal.
I started working at a popular wax chain in 2013 and continued with them for four years before branching off on my own. The decision was terrifying but ultimately, the best decision I have ever made for myself and my clients.
Making people feel beautiful in their own skin is my passion, and I have helped thousands of people get that spring back in their step.
I have been open for two years and am looking forward to many more.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Growing up, my family was very poor, and they had no way of helping me pay for school. I had absolutely no intention of working in this industry full time. I did cosmetology in high school to have a decent job while in college. It seemed like the perfect choice.
I ended up loving the industry and decided to make this my career.
Working at the wax chain was so tough on my body because of the high volumes of clients I had to see. I developed plantar fasciitis and could no longer work long hours on my feet all day- something had to change.

At Bunny Beauty Wax Studio, I specialize in Brazilian waxing and brow sculpting, but I do all types of body waxing for both men and women. My most popular service is the Brazilian wax. 74% of my clients come in just for Brazilians.
What I am most proud of is the ability to empower women and men by making them feel great in their own skin. I love to make people feel beautiful.
Our cleanliness and attention to detail sets us apart from any other wax studio in the area.

The most important people that helped build my business have to be my amazing clients. I appreciate each and every one of them. I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
Of course, my immigrant parents deserve some credit. Through their actions, they taught me the value of work ethic and perseverance.
