J Oliver Artistry began as an ambitious dream pursuit.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a challenge in acquiring paying customers, but you can’t give up hope & continue working hard regardless the circumstances. Not all roads are smooth, just keep following the yellow brick road. Now I comprehend why “free” is in the word “freelancer”. (Ha!)

J Oliver Artistry specializes in professional Hair & Makeup. We have worked in Fashion shows, Magazines, Movies, Television, Weddings, Special Events, Celebrities, etc.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moments are always seeing the smile on people’s face after enhancing their beauty. (Not the happy cries, because running mascara isn’t fun)
