Jha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Connections HTX started in Oct. 2018 as a social hub for millennial entrepreneurs and professionals to organically connect and build lasting professional and social relationships. Originally, the organization was formed due to Houston not supplying an entertaining environment for millennials to connect.
Connections HTX experiences aren’t just ordinary networking events; we understand the awkward pressure associated with networking, and it can be intimidating. We have built an audience of like-minded business professionals and entrepreneurs by hosting bi-monthly entertaining networking experiences.
Our experiences bring together a diverse variety of industries that cater to entrepreneurship in the effort to build beneficial professional and social connections. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, business professional or just love to socialize, this is your ideal club.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Connections HTX believes that every obstacle we have faced has not been a failure but a learning experience. Some of these obstacles have been finding adequate event spaces to host experiences, certain speakers not delivering on their promise collaborating with the organization and research, and planning events on efficient dates to maximize an experiences exposure.

Connections HTX is a social club that creates entertaining networking experiences for a variety of industries. We produce niched workshops, similar collaborated events with other organizations and volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits. Our goal is to cultivate an environment where you can learn from and connect organically with others.
We host all experiences in entertaining, relaxed settings that generate comfortable social environments to learn and connect with others within your industry. We cultivate niched workshops, partner with nonprofits on volunteer opportunities and collaborate with other organizations to produce similar social events. We invite top entrepreneurs from each niche to share their expertise on how to succeed in their field.
Our social experiences bring together a diverse variety of industries that cater to entrepreneurship and the building of beneficial professional and social connections. Our mission is to create an exciting and motivating environment for entrepreneurs and business professionals to connect, learn from others and fuel their drive.

We have learned so much through the process and just getting started, so we would not do anything differently.
