Thanks for sharing your story with us John, Ryan, and Oswaldo. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My partners and I have been in the industry for over 20 years and have worked together on many projects. NettBar came together when we set out to make an interactive bar that makes you feel like you are hanging out with friends in your back yard! Our goal is to get you to put down your phone for a couple of hours and get some face time while playing games and drinking cocktails with the people you care about!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When you turn a home that was built in 1917 into a fully functioning bar you will run into problems that may not come up on other projects but in the end we were able to keep the original feel of the home and all the memories it contains! From the 100 year old oak trees that surround the property to the original deck that housed a rocking chair in its younger days or the original wood floors that we were able to restore we really wanted it to feel like home when you walk in.
NettBar – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
NettBar is an interactive neighborhood bar featuring 3 bocce ball courts, ping pong, giant jenga, giant connect four and many other games while also providing a bar program that satisfies all tastes while managing to keep the pretentiousness out of the experience.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
When I see a group of customers smiling and telling stories and enjoying what we have built I know that no matter what we have built what we set out to do. As long as people enjoy NettBar then it’s a success.
