Today we’d like to introduce you to Johna Eberhart.
Johna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I took cosmetology in a trade school while attending New Rochelle High School in NY. Then I went to different 2 colleges, which later landed me at Howard University. At Howard I did hair on the side to help pay for my tuition because I was a struggling college student with no real financial help. After, graduating I traveled across country for 6 months and decided to move to Houston while working in corporate America. I quickly realized it wasn’t for me. Being the adventurous risk taker I am I decided I still wasn’t done traveling, so I ventured in Asia (Thailand and China) for over a year. In Asia I was introduced to individual lashes, which I thought was really interesting so I took a mental note of it. When I came back after a horrible family tragedy I ended up starting my own studio and worked part time for European Wax Center. Soon after, my business grew rapidly and I worked for myself full time. My business was successful and I never looked back. I recently moved to spring, Texas and I decided to do something different and that’s how I got to this point with the mobile spa.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My life has never been a smooth road. LOL …but the struggles are what got me to this point. I didn’t get approved for the vehicle I originally wanted, which was really frustrating but I just went with plan B, the trailer. I must say most aspects after that were smooth such as getting the trailer up and running. I learned so much about trailers and renovating. And, I definitely didn’t mind getting a little dirty while working on it; it was a lot of fun. I knew this business was meant for me because of how things were flowing. Some may consider the learning curve a struggle, but it gave me more character so no complaints here.
Please tell us about Diam Diva.
Diam Diva is a mobile spa offering different beauty services, but I specialize in and am known for waxing and lashing.
I am most proud of the trailer, because it’s creative and different. Being a mobile spa separates us from all the others. Diam Diva is the only mobile spa in the area (that I know of) and that makes us special.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There is nothing I personally would do different. I just wished my outcome would have been different with the original vehicle I wanted, but I definitely will get it in the near future.

Johna is very professional and did an amazing job waxing me. The environment is very relaxing from the glass of wine to the smooth jazz music that plays. I highly recommend giving her a try

Johna is professional and friendly, her demeanor makes you feel comfortable. I appreciate the comfort in a private setting, that comes to you (with wine!) Lol. Her prices are great, my monthly plan saves me money.

Johna brings world class service to your doorstep! Her lash extensions are immaculate because they look so natural. Her spirit is contagious and atmosphere is inviting. I highly recommend her!
