Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Terry and James Louvier.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jordan, James. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We met each other in Japan, where we served with each other in the Marine Corps. As combat instructors. James was from Pennsylvania and Jordan was born and raised in North Houston. Shortly after we were honorably discharged from the marines, we soon reunited in North Dakota where we worked drilling rigs together in the oil field. After a couple years in North Dakota, Jordan continued his oil field career back in Houston and James relocated to Tennessee where he perused underground mining. We both always visioned ourselves as business owners and building a successful company and when oil crashed in 2016, it gave us the opportunity to do so. Jordan saw the need for parking lot striping in Houston and saw the lucrative potential of the industry. 1 phone call later, James had put in his notice at work in Tennessee and relocated to Houston. We threw together our savings to start purchasing equipment and engulfed ourselves with learning the industry by using books and the internet. The growth of our business has been extremely organic and steady and we cannot wait to see where we are in 5 years.
Has it been a smooth road?
Like any new business, ours have had its growing pains. Being a start-up company, our largest obstacle was learning the industry and getting ahead of the learning curve. When you put out quality product everything else falls in place.
