Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When my husband Louis and I started LC Transport Services, LLC in February 2022, it was just the two of us with a single truck and a lot of determination. We didn’t have much—sometimes barely enough for fuel—but we had faith, a vision, and a commitment to serve our clients with reliability and excellence. From the beginning, I learned that running a business wasn’t just about strategy and operations—it was about walking in alignment with God and understanding the responsibilities He had entrusted to us.
The journey hasn’t been smooth. Early on, I carried too much of the weight myself, struggled with burnout, and had to learn the importance of truly respecting and walking in agreement with Louis as the head of our household. Late payments, financial stress, and operational challenges tested my patience and perspective. Through these experiences, God revealed the need for me to seek Him first, trust His plan, and understand that our identity is not in the business but in Him. Learning to operate LC Transport Services as a business given to us by God for stewardship transformed not only how we lead the company but how we lead our lives.
Professionally, LC Transport Services has grown step by step. While based in Louisiana, we provide trucking services—including flatbed, dry-van, box truck, hotshot, and oversize loads—to clients across multiple sectors, including infrastructure projects, healthcare logistics, corporate events, and even in the Houston area. We’ve built strategic partnerships to ensure we have the capacity to meet client needs and deliver with excellence. In 2024, we achieved $793,000 in revenue, and in 2025, we strategically focused on business development and building a strong back office to sustain long-term growth. Programs through LED and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center have been invaluable in helping us professionalize operations, implement safety protocols, and innovate with tools like a custom AI agent for operational efficiency.
Through it all, our faith has been the cornerstone of everything we do. The trials, stress, and challenges have shaped me into a leader who understands the importance of integrity, honor, and trust in business. LC Transport Services today is more than a trucking company—it is a reflection of our commitment to God, our clients, and our community. Every delivery we make, every partnership we cultivate, and every challenge we overcome is done with a purpose: to operate with excellence and serve faithfully.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, and that’s part of what has made our journey so meaningful. When we started LC Transport Services, we had very little—sometimes just enough for fuel—and we quickly realized running a trucking business requires more than determination. We faced financial challenges, the steep learning curve of managing operations, and the pressures of meeting client expectations with limited resources.
One of the hardest lessons was learning to balance immediate revenue needs with long-term business development. In 2025, we made the strategic decision to scale back some revenue-generating activities in order to focus on building a strong back office, professionalizing operations, and implementing systems that would allow us to serve our clients better in the long term. That wasn’t easy—it required sacrifice and trust that the effort would pay off—but it was essential for sustainable growth.
Through every challenge, faith in God has been our anchor. We’ve learned that we cannot operate a business on our own; His guidance and provision have carried us through the difficult moments. Each struggle has taught us resilience, humility, and the importance of serving our clients with excellence. Today, those lessons shape how we operate, how we partner strategically to meet client needs, and how we approach growth with intention and integrity.

Everything you see about me and LC Transport Services wouldn’t be possible without God. The growth, the wins, and everything we’ve accomplished so far are all because I choose to put my full trust and faith in Him. In the years ahead, everything LC Transport Services achieves will be because we honor God with not just our hearts, but with everything we do.
Any big plans?
Looking ahead, our focus is on growing with intention and purpose, not just getting bigger. We are strengthening our foundation and gearing up to expand our operations in the government contracting space, while also preparing to launch our JC Genuine Brokerage Firm to better support our clients’ logistics needs through trusted partnerships.
We’re also planning for the next phase of LC Transport Services by moving into more specialized hauling, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials, when the timing is right. Most of all, I’m looking forward to what God has planned for us—trusting that as we stay disciplined, obedient, and faithful, the growth ahead will align with His purpose for our business and the communities we serve.
