Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Pellerin.
Joseph, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I bought the company about 5 years ago. I started small but slowly grew over the years by adding a variety of tours. Now, I’m one of only three land-based tour companies in Galveston.
Has it been a smooth road?
There’s been some growing pains, but it’s been mostly a smooth ride.

I give hour long sightseeing tours of Galveston all year around. The tour provides a good background on Galveston history and points out the local sites and attractions. It’s a good way for visitors to get a lay of the land. I’m most proud of the variety of tours we offer throughout the year, and that’s probably what we’re most known for.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Galveston is a tourist town so it’s a good place for a tour company. The city could improve though by being a little more pro-business.
