I never would have thought that I would become a photographer. After taking so many pictures of my girlfriend, I decided I might as well make money from it. It started off with wanting to make money, to falling in love with the craft. Now all I think and see is how to take photos in every scenario I find my self in. That would be a short story of how Refined Photography was started.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I would say it was a smooth start. Just like any craft, there is a lot to learn but I had all the support I needed and business was good from the minute I decided to take photography seriously.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Refined Photography – what should we know?
We don’t have a specific type of photography we specialize in at the moment, but we just like to have fun and create art. I play around with different prompts and backgrounds to take my photos. I would not be able to tell you what people know my photography for but we get a lot of messages admiration and that is what keeps us going also.
