Meet Joshua Grace of Amaru Farms & Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Grace.

Joshua Grace

Hi Joshua, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
It all started with the idea of getting out of our “normal” and moving forward a more natural, organic way of life. We wanted to step out of the average “executive style” home & lifestyle.

Although living in a beautifully manicured neighborhood was nice.

There is something about owning a piece of property with no limitations or HOAs to control and contradict what you do with your property that brings upon a more complete feeling of ownership to you.

With not many minorities or even relatives owning land, we manifested our original thought of living outside of our “normal” and breaking generation curses.

With hard work, sacrifices, and prayer… We introduce to you Amaru Farms.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
With any goal or dream in mind will come obstacles and challenges. What would it mean to you if you didn’t have to put any emotion, work & sacrifice to get what you wanted.

And for some, like us… the purchasing process is always a stressful bump on the road.

Going back and forth with the bank, waiting times & negotiations will always throw you up and down.

Beyond financial, the main challenge was thinking… if we could really adjust to living in a rural town. If we could really live comfortably knowing the nearest grocery store is a 45-minute drive one way and back. A town that has a population of 2,000; if we really needed anything in the event of an emergency, would we have the help, support, or resources as living in the suburbs. Those are things that stayed in my head in transition to living out in the country from Austin.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
