Juan Carlos’ background and experience in professional endeavors and business operations began long before further academic pursuits and receipt of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from E.A.N. School of Business Administration in Bogotá, his Colombian hometown.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Juan made a pivotal decision to relocate to the United States. A keen eye for investment opportunities brought his attention to the real estate market and subsequently led to his acquisition of a number of income properties.
Foresight and a natural appreciation of opportune transactions complemented his experience in and understanding of local, regional, and international real estate markets… After understanding Houston Dynamics, Juan decided to enter the world of Coworking, Startups and office space giving birth of Wi+Cowork in order to contribute with Houston innovation’s growth.
Along with his passions for entrepreneurs and human leaders, now JC is currently developing a series of compilations of activities to further enhance entrepreneurs to stay at their max, bringing Ancient practices and new technology in the hands of the urban cities. Such search has brought JC to the Amazons, to the mountains, to endure Fastings of six days, to live with shamans in the mountains seeking for clarity and messages that must be spread out in the Urban Jungles. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
By any means, every day, every new endeavor simply is a set of higher quality of problems.
My mindset shifted from being resourceful to become a true resourcefulness leader along with the understanding that light would not exist without the presence of Negative Energy, both equally important for a sustainable balance. Then I understood to have my resistance in order to create the best light possible to us, our enterprise our clients and the world.
In Houston particularly, the Oil and gas created a decrease in economic spending and job creation that resulted in some population migration that at the end and with enough patience, it is now becoming our commodity, more and more individuals creating their own companies rather than waiting to be offered a “secured Job.”

What were you like growing up?
As a kid in Bogota Colombia and given the fact that my father passed away when I was three years of age, my mother gave me the role as an Older Brother I was, more as a father with lots of responsibilities under my shoulder for my younger two siblings. At some point in my childhood my attention was always driven to activities with Discipline as Taekwondo, Soccer, Playing guitar, and at a very very early age, my display for entrepreneurship was evident!
Actually, I have a cool story to share that we all were talking in my family, my first actual club I founded at the age of seven. It was very simple but no idea where it came from… I had all my neighbors turn tons of their games to me in my house and in a backyard terrace we had, we all organized them like a casino type, then they would same money from their school lunch allowance and come to our place to play but paying to use other games.
We had a President (me lol) a manager, treasurer and we the money we collected we bought Sodas, Cake, red tape for a grand opening, scissors, and a couple of more games! That is how it all started. Then it turned into college, Licences as Real Estate Broker, masters in construction administration, Bodybuilding competition, a cover band here in Houston along with world traveling and a cultural seeker.
