Hi Julia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Flourish Oxygen Bar & More was started by my husband and I as an idea and conversation after traveling in 2021. For some reason the idea and name stuck with me and I would not let it go, so I stepped out on it and started the process on the creation and research side. The goal for Flourish is actually so much bigger than just providing oxygen treatments and we hope to have these other add-ons to our business up and running by the end of 2022.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business is never easy and it does take a lot of time and dedication which takes away from our family and relaxation time. We also have run into funding issues due to it being such a new business and people not really knowledgeable of what it is or what it offers. Although those have been our struggles we have kept pushing with faith and hard work and things are definitely looking promising for us.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Flourish Oxygen Bar & More?
Flourish Oxygen Bar is currently just an oxygen bar. We provide recreational aromatherapy oxygen sessions which are tailored to the customers’ needs. We are currently transitioning into a location which we hope to expand into a storefront by the end of 2022, and offer additional add-on services as well. These oxygen services are set to target your needs rather it’s relieving stress, headaches, hangovers, or just needing to catch your Zen. We offer travel services for events and private sessions which can all be booked at our website. Our goal and priority is to provide an amazing experience.
We also believe our faith has carried us to where we are today with this being our 4th business in the making.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
We have genuine desires and we are always up for a challenge that will allow us or our companies to improve. I feel like we know you can never know enough which allows you to grow further. We have a willingness to be greater.
