Kosmos Coffee was the creation of Dr. Jerry Edmonson, the lead pastor at The Fellowship in Katy, TX. Jerry enjoyed having coffee at various coffee shops and wondered if this love for coffee among so many people could be used to serve God and help people. He decided to open a full-service coffee shop that serves premium coffee and use those profits to fund different causes. Kosmos was birthed. Kosmos serves locally roasted, premium coffee in the form of espresso based drinks, cold brew -iced and blended drinks, brewed coffee and many teas and non-coffee drinks, as well as pastries and snacks. 100% of the profits from the sales goes to the Kosmos cause of the month. The causes address homelessness, medical needs, orphans, human trafficking, poverty and hunger.
Has it been a smooth road?
Kosmos Coffee is in a rather obscure location. Located as a storefront in The Fellowship building, signs are limited due to restrictions of the Cinco Ranch planned community. In spite of this, many have discovered this hidden gem of great coffee and pleasant surroundings. The challenge remains to acquaint more of the public to Kosmos Coffee as the delicious coffee shop with a big heart.

Kosmos Coffee is known for changing the world on cup at a time. We serve only the highest quality locally roasted coffee. We are proud that every cup that is made with care serves to reach out to those in need.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the diversity of our city. We get people from so many cultures visiting Kosmos. We love serving people and learning about different cultures and how it affects their coffee preferences.
The thing I like least about our city is the summer heat and humidity. We try to make this more pleasant by serving iced and blended choices of coffee and non-coffee drinks.
