Hi Justice, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I developed a love for the Beauty Industry at a very young age; I remember watching YouTube tutorials of the latest makeup trends so I could practice on my friends and family. My childhood dream was to become a makeup artist in a big city. As I grew older and graduated high school, I started to look at the beauty industry as a hobby and could no longer picture myself doing makeup for the rest of my life. That’s when I started to pursue a career in the medical field. Fast forward to my mid-20s, I got really sick and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (lupus). This disease caused lots of changes to not only my body but my skin. I would get these painful butterfly rashes on my face and suffer from extremely dry skin & even flare up when out in the sun too long. That’s when my love for skincare began, I started to focus more on overall wellness and create natural beauty products that actually worked for my condition. I immediately enrolled in Esthetician School & obtained my License
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been a smooth road for me with all the many challenges I’ve faced. Struggling with random lupus flares, working a full-time job, going to school at night, and trying to stay healthy was a lot! I thank God that I’m now able to prioritize my health & self-care better so I can do the things I love and live to my best potential. With Faith, all things are possible!
