Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Allen.
Justin Allen is the founder and owner of ALL-EN SPORTS PERFORMANCE and younger brother of Miami Dolphins Tight End, Dwayne Allen. After high school (Cypress Creek), Justin attended Trinity Valley Junior College for a semester before transferring to City College of San Francisco where he started playing football. He played one season at City College of San Francisco (CCSF) where he played in the 2012-2013 Junior College National Championship game.
Following his time at CCSF, he decided to further his football career and education at New Mexico State University where he was a Wide Receiver from 2013 to 2015 before retiring due to double hip reconstruction and finger tendon replacement. He graduated with his Bachelors with a minor in Business and Marketing in 2015. Since his retirement, Justin has started training athletes of all levels so that they can reach their fullest potential.
In March 2016, Justin started training and learning at IFAST: Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training in Indianapolis, Indiana. During the summer of 2016, he moved back to Houston where he worked at Blitz Football Camp. In the summer of 2016, he was flown to London to assist with the NFLUK team. He assisted with training and coaching alongside Victor Cruz, Andrew Luck, DeAngelo, and Dwayne Allen. Justin founded ALL-EN SPORTS PERFORMANCE in summer of 2016 and has since developed a custom, vigors training program that helps athletes take their game to the next level.
Justin has been featured on Netflix’s original series Last Chance U. Additionally, he is an ambassador for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy.
Has it been a smooth road?
Justin has seen it all. Growing up, Justin’s family was homeless and has lived in shelters and out of cars. While both of his parents are still alive, Justin’s dad is a disabled veteran and found him after a drug overdose, and has had to call 9-1- after watching his mom slit her wrists.
Learning that he could no longer play ball due to his injuries was really difficult. Justin went into a time of depression and had to learn to channel his passion and love for the game into something else.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like the best about Houston is the diversity–I love that there are so many different cultures and ethnicities. The people are really generous and hospitable here. Shoot, it’s home.
The thing I like the least about Houston is the bipolar weather and all the construction.
