Hi Justin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is rooted in redemption and God’s grace. At 17, I experienced one of the hardest moments of my life—the loss of my mother. At the same time, I had just become a father, transitioning from high school into college with more responsibility and heartbreak than I knew how to handle.
I was grieving, raising a child, trying to grow up, and figuring out life all at once. I didn’t have a roadmap. I didn’t have stability. But what I did have was a determination not to let my circumstances define my future.
In that season, God began rebuilding me from the inside out. Every challenge, every setback, and every moment of confusion became a lesson. God used my pain as preparation.
Prominent Life Investments was born from that transformation—not as a business idea, but as a calling. God placed it on my heart to help others rebuild their own lives the same way He restored mine. I realized my purpose wasn’t just to succeed—it was to serve.
Today, Prominent Life Investments exists to show people that no matter where they come from or what they’ve survived, restoration is possible.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest challenges I faced didn’t come from business—they came from life.
Losing my mother at 17 left a wound that shaped my early adulthood. Becoming a father at the same time added a level of responsibility I wasn’t prepared for. I had to grow up quickly, make adult decisions, and fight through grief, confusion, and pressure.
Later, as an entrepreneur, I faced seasons of limited resources, closed doors, and moments where I questioned whether I was truly called for this path. But through every challenge, God was working. He brought the right people, the right opportunities, and the right direction exactly when I needed them.
Those struggles didn’t break me—they built me. They taught me patience, discipline, and faith. They shaped the foundation of how I lead today.

First, I’m proud of the man my son has become.
Watching him grow into a disciplined, focused young man—and ultimately helping him get into college—was one of the defining moments of my life. It broke generational limitations within my family and created a new standard, a new legacy, and a higher foundation for the generations coming after him. His success is a testament to what faith, intentional parenting, and perseverance can produce.
