Meet Karen Dobesh of Red Rock Traditions in Sugar Land

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karen Dobesh.

Karen, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
For many years I have been in the Direct Sales industry and always been very successful. In August of 2016 I was invited to be a founding member of a new direct sales company based in Kansas City. After being flown to KC to learn about it, I knew I had to be a part of this company. So much more than its products, red rock traditions is about bringing our families together and strengthening them through Traditions and Celebrations, In the era of electronics, divorce and over commitment, so many families and relationships are in disconnect! With our products, simple, thoughtful connections can be made. A new tradition can begin to reconnect us. So I was sold! We started with 37 items, but we perceived, adding more items and sharing our mission. Our fall 2017 catalog had 117 items and Feb. of 2018 another 25-30 items are being added. Our sister company is Demdaco, the Willow Tree figurine distributor. So though we are new we have a very well established company supporting us! In April my husband and I will be traveling with the company on an all-expenses paid trip, Royal Caribbean Cruise. We are growing our company every day, adding new consultants around Texas and the country. Our vision is to offer gift and home decor items that an extra special, that have a special purpose. And to offer a ground floor business opportunity to anyone interested in helping grow our company, share our mission and be a success!

Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest challenge is getting our name out there and sharing who we are. Once people see the line they fall in love and embrace the mission.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Red Rock Traditions – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Red Rock Traditions is direct sales company. We offer unique home decor and gift items that are more than that, because our mission is to strengthen families through celebration and traditions, the items have a thoughtful way of help us do just that. This is what truly makes me most proud, whether it’s a journal, one of our games or decor items, the mission of them is special and so important in today society. One of my favorite items is our Prayer Bear, I have done several fundraiser with him, people “sponsor”/purchase a bear and then we take the Prayer Bears to the sponsored organization, we have done Cook Children’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas Children’s in Houston and Fort Bend Sheriffs, to use for children in crisis in association with Fort Bend children’s Advocates. These precious bears have really made a difference in these kids’ lives! These are the kinds of things that set us apart from other company, our products are different and make a difference!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love this area! People really see the vision and are receptive to the line…there really isn’t anything I don’t like.

  • There is always a monthly special for customers and hostesses
  • Our cost to start your own business is only $135 for our starter kit.
