Today we’d like to introduce you to Karol Carballo.
Hi Karol, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
For those that do not know, I am a full-time student and also a real estate agent. I attend the University of Houston for one hour, showing homes the next & drafting contracts the following. I also like to say I am the family’s manager.
I am their go-to person for help, support, and questions they may have. I am involved in the community and work in a not-for-profit organization in the North Houston area. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people & building life-long lasting relationships.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To this day, nothing has ever been perfect. However, minimizing the struggles that are within my control & through experiences is that I learn to be a better Karol for tomorrow. Thankfully, I’ve had a village to shape me into the woman I am today; who I like to say, is persistent, driven, and optimistic.
Though there are challenges & unforeseen life events, I focus again on what I CAN change and modify. While trying to let go of what is out of my hands. Nonetheless, I like to create a plan & stick to it. No matter what. No matter how many times it may take for me to get back up & try again.
As you know, we’re big fans of your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a realtor who specializes in relocation, leases, selling, and buying. As an agent, what sets me aside is my dedication to each client I serve. I take the time to listen first & meet one-on-one with clients to understand their needs & wants. Not only are they making sure I’m a good fit for them but I also want to make sure I provide them with the right contacts, resources, and advice when it comes to their specific scenario.
I take pride in the knowledge & experience I provide to my clients. I want to hear their short-term & long-term goals.
With that in mind, it provides me with a bigger & greater vision of how I can help my client(s) accomplish their goals too.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In 5 years, I want to continue to further my career in real estate.
One of my goals is to dedicate myself as a professional mentor & lead other agents. That way, in the future, they can pour into someone else’s cup & pay the knowledge forward. I hope that this specific group of agents will be able to replace me or even better— surpass me!
