Mike Packer has been an avid artist since he was a small child and always has a thirst to learn. Doing many different forms of art, it’s only natural he would move on to different canvases and the only thing that seemed left was humans, the ultimate canvas. He opened his own shop in 2010 and since it has been one of the most prominent shops. It didn’t suffer or go wanting due to the talented artists that kept it going. Through the hard work and determination, Mike Packer, Joel Torrez, Joshua Strader have built a shop that stands strong and always offers art that people will adore. Through the years Mike has also taught several talented apprentices, including myself. The artists at Packer’s Tattoos are all not only experienced, but very easy to be around and easy to work with. Something we strive for as a shop is to keep a professional and fun atmosphere. We like to offer something some shops may not in the form of excellent customer service. We want all of our customers to leave our shop with a smile on their faces even though they just got poked quite a bit!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Due to the fact Packer’s really does offer something that you can’t get at most conventional shops, sailing has been rather smooth. With our returning clientele and our continually good reviews, our secret to success is fairly obvious.

Packer’s is a tattoo shop located in Rosenberg. We may seem small but there’s nothing small about us. Between our award-winning artists and outstanding work, it’s very clear to see what sets us apart from the other shops in Houston. We specialize in offering not only great art, but great personalities to go along with that. From the time you come in to the time you leave, we make our customers comfortable, safe, and happy with our art.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have plans for the future, absolutely, but right now we’re just focusing on doing great work in the shop. We are attending the 2017 Tattoo Voodoo Expo in New Orleans, as well.
