Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Ussery.
Hi Kayla, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After retiring from dancing for the Houston Rockets, getting my degree from the University of Houston, then working in the Oil and Gas industry I knew I wanted to be my own creative boss. My husband and I started a family and having two girls and pregnant with my third, it was time! This is when Lovelidea Studio was born. Being a dancer my whole life and an artist on the side, the creative side of me wanted to flourish. I love working with people and with two, soon to be three, littles at home, I needed to build a business that would allow me to still work at home with the girls. Letting my creativeness fly I am so grateful I am able to help businesses design brands that suit their needs and find their ideal clients with lovely ideas and designing dreams.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Having children, a pandemic, and the normal life day to days of adjusting to new babies during launching my business have been the hurdles I am able to overcome. It has been a beautiful journey and I am grateful I am able to have powered through to continue to offer my services to business owners.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Lovelidea Studio I am able to provide my services as a digital brand designer and social media marketing expert. I am known specifically for designing brands specifically to help businesses market to their ideal clients, this would include custom and unique logos, sub-marks, logo design videos, custom patterns, and social media marketing designs. I like to think of myself as specializing in hand drawn items. Targeting the beautifully detailed art I love to draw.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I love working with veterans and current duty. I have a passion as my family is full of veterans. I provide a discount for all service members. Although I have listed my starting prices I encourage business to reach out to me with their mission as I have a number of discounts to provide. I strive to help all business to bring more than just a PowerPoint created logo to help business attracts their dream clients.
