KDOGG BNFA, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started with my partner in 2008, recording songs, freestyles, and mixtapes in my closet. Over time we developed our skills and came up with new marketing ideas that would help us excel. With branding being a big tool, we used it to gain popularity and grow our fanbase. Since 2008, we’ve mastered branding by placing our logos on various, commonly used objects, and making placements in different, commonly visited places. (stickers, pens, pencils, sticky notes, lighters, keychains, lanyards, clothes, caps, apparel, etc…) We’ve also released, collectively and independently, well over ten different projects that are available for stream and download on every major digital platform.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Over the years, we’ve learned to transition from simply doing music to marketing ourselves in the music business. Once you understand that music is business as well, it opens your eyes up to see things in a different light. Along the road, we’ve encountered lessons, losses, betrayal, death, all things that we’ve overcome, but can’t always prepare for. But it does strengthen us to endure these things in the future.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with B.N.F.A. Bar None Fade All – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
My company is a music brand named B.N.F.A. – Bar None Fade All. It consists of a group of individuals, from different background, that share the same views, all trying to achieve a common goal; success. Success is everyone’s dream, and the truth is, it can be reached alone or as a collective. We, Bar None Fade All all understand self-sufficiency, but also the importance of support; for we all lean on one another and use each other’s resources to obtain what we need to succeed, or even reach the next level.
With that being said, our music brand makes efforts to bring attention and notoriety to the brand’s music, by keeping ourselves popular, in demand, and relevant! As CEO of the company, I am most proud of the merchandise we create and sell, as it is doing fairly well, and increasing in demand every season. The main thing that sets us apart is our level and knowledge of branding!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our plans for the future is primarily getting our brand seen and music heard by the masses. Even if it means going into a partnership with someone that can help us spread the brand and music into mainstream audiences.
