Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Monrow.
Hi Kelly, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started doing commercial print when I was 14 years old and on a commercial shoe the DP told my mom that I should try acting. I went on my first audition and booked it and began my journey as an actress the TV film at the age of 16. I have been on some successful shows and in some successful movies and during the pandemic, I decided to start singing because I couldn’t audition anymore. That was when my voice really began to transform and take position. I made a full length album where I wrote every lyric and created a story. I would say my music journey has been one that connects to cinema and I love making music videos to each of my songs. I love storytelling and I love writing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing ever worthwhile is a smooth road. I think trying to break into the industry as an artist wasn’t challenged but now I just make music because it makes me happy and brings me joy and I hope that my stories in my lyrics can help Transcend somebody else else’s life.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist I’m an actress singer interior designer, creative consultant, and a writer. I love storytelling and I love taking my vision and transforming it into art. I love making people feel alive. Happy and joyful.

I’m from Texas, but I’ve lived all over the world. Country music is the source of my heart and although I have lived in urban big cities, there’s just a good old country girl inside of me.
