Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Millard.
Kimberly, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Wow! Well, I have always had a love for making people smile and making sure everyone is happy. I enjoy entertaining others at my home and when my children were younger, I was known for throwing the best birthday parties EVER with lots of decors, entertainment and fun favors for the children. I have coordinated and decorated friend’s weddings and I even decorated my own wedding. I honestly love seeing people come together for any celebration with everything beautifully decorated. Now that my babies LOL (I mean my adult children) have moved away from home, I have decided to pick up my passion for decorating parties for others and making them smile.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Well, coming up with the name was difficult at first, so with the help of my husband and children, they reminded me of one of the many things I have told them and that is “everything is possible if you believe,” and with that being said Party Possible was created. I was afraid at first to take on such a challenge because of all the competition, but there is room enough for everyone. I was overexcited when my first client called and lives in Southern California and found little ole me online to decorate for her daughter’s quinceanera in Willis, Texas and since then, I haven’t looked back. I know my clientele is everywhere and I’m ready to make them smile.
Please tell us about your business.
Party Possible specializes in Event Decor for any event. We provide full event decor including but not limited to: linens, backdrops, complete table decor to include centerpieces which are always an event ice breaker, balloon garlands, balloon columns and chair decor, I have just started making customized t-shirts for my clients as well. I’m most proud of Party Possible because it allows me to be my own boss and it sets me apart from others when it comes to what I can and can not do, there are no limitations because I don’t have to get approval from anyone but me (LOL), I believe everyone deserves a beautiful event and I make it possible for them without putting a dent in their pockets. 🙂

My biggest supporters and cheerleaders have been my husband, Darryl, my children (Demarcus, Daysha and Damaya) my sister Demetris Johnson and my big Sis Diane Davis, my awesome Mother In Law Patricia White, even though she lives in Beaumont she is always praying for me and reminding me to keep the faith and to stay true to my passion no matter what. I definitely can not forget my accountability friend Danielle Keller from New Orleans. We communicate almost everyday about our businesses. It’s a must to have a good team behind you – cheering you on, especially when you want to quit when the phone is quiet, or you start to compare yourself to those that have been in the business much longer. I love them for their support it is important to me and for that, I’m grateful.
