Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiran Singh
Hi Kiran, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started in risk and fraud analysis, where I built a career investigating fraud trends and protecting businesses. While I enjoyed the analytical side, I always had a creative spark that I wanted to explore.
I started sharing my life as a married Punjabi woman—mixing humor, lifestyle, and career insights in a way that felt natural. Slowly, people began connecting with my content, especially women navigating similar cultural and personal experiences. Now, with over 1,500 Instagram followers, 1,100 on TikTok, and nearly 200 on YouTube, I’m focused on growing my platform and building a community where women feel seen, inspired, and entertained.
My goal is to reach 1.1 million followers across platforms while staying true to what makes my content special—relatable moments, honest conversations, and a bit of humor to keep it fun!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing a full-time career in fraud analysis while building my presence as a content creator has been challenging. There have been moments of doubt—wondering if my content is resonating, dealing with slow growth, and trying to stay consistent while juggling everything else in life.
Being a married Punjabi woman also comes with its own set of expectations, and at times, I’ve struggled to carve out space for my creative ambitions while managing family dynamics. On top of that, social media can be unpredictable—some posts do well, while others don’t, which can be frustrating.
But despite the challenges, I’ve stayed focused on creating content that feels real and relatable. Every small win—a meaningful comment, a growing community, or a video that connects with people—reminds me why I started, and that keeps me going.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I balance two very different worlds—working full-time as a fraud and risk analyst while also building my presence as a content creator. In my career, I specialize in identifying fraud trends, analyzing financial risks, and developing strategies to protect businesses from fraud. I’ve worked with companies like Bill.com and Vroom, using data to drive fraud prevention decisions. It’s a fast-paced, analytical field that requires critical thinking and problem-solving, which I’ve honed over the years.
At the same time, I create content that blends humor, lifestyle, and personal experiences as a married Punjabi woman navigating career, relationships, and cultural expectations. What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on one aspect of my life—I share the reality of juggling a demanding career while also embracing creativity and self-expression.
I’m most proud of how I’ve managed to merge these two worlds. My background in fraud analysis gives me a unique perspective, and I’ve started incorporating career tips and fraud awareness into my content, helping others navigate both personal and professional challenges. My goal is to continue growing my platform while staying true to my voice—making relatable, entertaining, and insightful content that connects with others.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The COVID-19 crisis taught me the importance of adaptability and prioritizing what truly matters. Professionally, it reinforced how critical fraud prevention is, as online scams and financial fraud surged during the pandemic. It pushed me to sharpen my analytical skills and stay ahead of emerging fraud trends in a rapidly changing digital world.
Personally, it made me reflect on work-life balance and the value of pursuing passions outside of a traditional career. Spending more time at home allowed me to explore content creation seriously, and I realized how much I love connecting with people through storytelling and humor.
The biggest lesson? Life is unpredictable, and waiting for the “perfect time” to chase your goals isn’t an option. If something excites you, start now—adjust as you go.
