Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristi O’Connell.
Kristi, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The Branded Clover started out as exclusively a photography business in 2008. Since the beginning, I have always worn all the hats. My professional degree is in Marketing, but photography was a passion that I pursued training in the art of. I believe very much in following the paths that unfold before you and letting my business transition organically. As my clients grew, my photography business evolved to meet their needs. I began photographing weddings in 2011. By 2015, I was fully submerged in the wedding industry, and with a move from Sugar Land to Montgomery, TX I continued to focus solely on that side of the business. Growing into a new market required me to really push my Marketing efforts, and to broaden my brand reach. It was through my own growth that I discovered branding was a huge obstacle for so many small businesses in my community. I am still cultivating this arm of my business, but I am proud to say that I have helped many businesses grow their brand through product photography, styled shoots, and social media coaching over the last year.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning a business is never a smooth road. I have made a few decisions that caused some setbacks. The biggest thing I would say is that I could have pushed myself harder.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about The Branded Clover – what should we know?
The Branded Clover is a photography, branding, and design company. We do private photography for all of life’s events but officially opened our corporate photography, branding, and design branch in 2018. With over 20 years of Marketing and Photography experience, I feel we bring a great eye and perspective to any project or event. I am most proud that my clients trust me, whether it’s creating a logo and full branding plan, photographing one of the most important days in their life or capturing the details for a companies product photography needs, my clients know I strive to give them my very best every time. I believe the ability to adapt, having a “can do” attitude, and valuing our clients sets us apart.

- Wedding Photography 8 hrs of coverage, all digital files is $2800
- Private and Corporate sessions all start with a $150 session fee and include one HR file.
