Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Grismore.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Phlox Divinity was birth at a time where my family and I were seeking a change. We left Houston, Texas in 2018 in search of a fresh start and better job opportunities for my husband and I. Due to my background, and in some cases, being over-qualified, finding employment in Houston was a challenge and at the time we realized in order for us to grow and prosper we had to change our scenery. We moved to Lancaster, California, and I began working for Door Dash, a food delivery company. While I knew God allowed me the opportunity to work in order to provide for my family, I also knew God had bigger plans for me and I continued to pray for discernment in order to obtain prosperity where He saw fit.
While driving for Door Dash, I began working on my company which I named Phlox Divinity. I knew I wanted to help people and also be prosperous with a business that I could stand behind and Phlox Divinity met those goals. The conception of Phlox Divinity was very personal because I suffered with womb wellness issues as a result of imbalanced pH. While researching natural homeopathic remedies for my feminine issues, I discovered that a lot of natural herbs could help and remedy issues that are common to women, but not discussed in westernized medicine. I decided to try natural solutions for my female issues, and if it worked for me, it would be a product that I could stand behind and offer as an alternative to women suffering from the same issues.
Moreover, I wanted to be sure to be in alignment with God while creating Phlox Divinity, therefore while learning more about the herbs and products, as well as using them for my own issues, I made a promise to God that if it is His will, I would help every female as long as God covered me. While creating Phlox Divinity, I was sure to research bible scriptures and verses to make sure the products were within the will of God, because it was important for me to remain true to the promises I made to God and to myself. The bible scriptures that were most impactful during my startup of Phlox Divinity were Jeremiah 30:13 and 46:11, which refers to healing medicines, and Ezekiel 47:12, which speaks of the tree of life as having leaves that will be for medicine. Once I read those scriptures, it was confirmation that I was on the right path. My first two products were the Organic Phlox Wash and Petals. The customer reviews were raving, it literally felt like God was blessing me because I stayed true to our commitment and remained authentic to myself.
My clients were so happy with the products, but they could not believe I was the owner of the business, they would ask me who was I working for and was often in disbelief when I informed them that I was the owner. Although I was happy with the success and the growth of the company, I would continue to pray and ask God to cover Phlox Divinity and continue to ask for clarity in my vision for the business. I was still working for Door Dash but would pray for more time to put into Phlox Divinity because working and owning Phlox Divinity was becoming a challenge. Not long after, I received an email stating I had been fired from door dash. I was extremely emotional when I was notified that I was fired until I remembered that God gives the desires of your heart and although I continued to work, it no longer had my heart, Phlox Divinity was where I wanted to spend all my time. Once I was released from Door Dash, I pushed even harder to grow Phlox Divinity, I started to promote the company through Instagram, send flyers through email, and take additional classes to help Phlox Divinity grow and those decisions and investments paid off big time.
As of today, my husband and I run Phlox Divinity here at our new location 7636 Harwin dr #304 Houston Texas 77036 and I teach Business, Funding, and Marketing Classes with Certificates at the completion. While teaching Entrepreneurship to my students, I do not hide anything and am sure to teach them everything I have learned, from the wins to the losses. It is important that my students not only succeed but that they do better than myself as I teach them all the lessons in business building in order to prevent some of the pitfalls that I experienced while building Phlox Divinity. It is imperative that my students understand the power of a positive mindset and that whatever they want in life they must keep God in it and envision it through daily affirmations and daily gratitude to God as a continuous thank you.
Has it been a smooth road?
There are no such thing as smooth roads. There are simply lessons and successes, no losses. Nothing in life is easy, but more importantly any challenges faced you have to be sure to learn from them and push through as there is always something to learn in every experience. I moved to a city where I knew no one, but I knew it was the right decision for my family and I. While I was building my business and working, I had no idea what God had planned for me, but I knew it would be bigger and better than anything I could have planned for myself. Learning social media, investing in training courses, and trying to be an entrepreneur with little experience was a struggle. There have been days I wanted to give up when sales were slow, or I just may have been going through something mentally, but each time I had doubts I remembered what I asked God for and the agreement I made with Him and those struggles became insignificant because I knew God would never leave me.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Phlox Divinity LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
Phlox Divinity is a womb wellness company that offers natural herbal and organic products to improve, maintain, and rejuvenate vaginal health. The goal of Phlox Divinity is to encourage and promote women’s health via homeopathic methods without using chemicals. People often say that the womb is self-cleansing, which it is true, however, the products in mainstream westernized medicine are often damaging and lead to long term negative effects for the vagina. We at Phlox Divinity want to normalize the conversation of a healthy vagina and encourage the use of herbal traditional remedies for common vaginal issues. Our current product line is 100% herbal and organic and includes all natural herbs, soaps made with and from herbs, and from other natural resources, that are said to heal the womb and are based on biblical teachings.
The owner of Phlox Divinity, Kristina Grismore (MySelf), is a self-proclaimed Yoni Specialist, I have become an expert in Womb Wellness as I have researched and learned about holistically treating and maintaining a healthy womb by being my first customer ( I try every product myself before selling or even allowing customers to use or buy any of Phlox Divinity products). I am known for establishing trusting relationships with my customers as I realize many people may be uncomfortable with openly discussing feminine issues or just plainly may not know about natural remedies that really work. Therefore, the overarching goal of Phlox Divinity is to empower and educate women and provide products that can improve their vaginal health as well as open dialog about issues that most women face.
Life has been a whirlwind for myself, being blessed with a loving soulmate to help build Phlox divinity to actually opening a storefront in the same city my family and I moved away from was only possible through God’s grace and favor. God moved us out of Houston to expand my gift of helping, I realized I needed solace in order to find my true calling, helping women gain confidence and provide products that will naturally improve vaginal health of women is my calling. I am very helpful to my customers as I pour myself into them in order to build trusting relationships and offers 24-hour support. As a result, Phlox Divinity products are unlike any other yoni products as we set to normalize the discussion of vaginal health by providing products that are organic, high quality, highly effective, and inexpensive for women.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Phlox divinity will be worldwide, I want to reach every lady and inform her of my personal issues and how I was able to help my self. I push hard for trust and will forever keep my promise to God. There’s no exact position Id like to be in other than Gods’ will. Where ever he takes me is where I want to be and I see myself following God’s will even in 5 to 10 years. I am not perfect nor do I think I am better than anyone I sin daily, But I try to stay aligned with God at all times praying constantly for forgiveness, mercy, grace and last, but not least the growth of women unity and Phlox Divinity.
