Krystal Guidry

Hi Krystal, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
My story is like many people or women. Been hurt, depressed, suicidal, abuse, miscarriage, low self-esteem but I have over came and if I can do it, I know you can. I always had the vision of being a mentor and building a movement for women, but it came to reality when I lost my mother in 2019 and how my sisterhood of friends where there for me to uplift me, encourage me, support me, and prayed for me when I couldn’t pray for myself. So, after my miscarriage, I birth Sisterhood of Praying Women for Queens.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a struggle because some people support you and some people don’t, including family. I have learned who will support you from the bottom up.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am in the healthcare field as an Ambulatory representative, but at the present time I just enrolled in college for a surgical technology. I enjoy helping people and hearing what they are going through. Being in the healthcare field has humble me when I see what people are going through, I just have to be humble because it could have been me “BUT GOD”. My proudest moment is me touching someone’s life, being their shoulder to cry on and being the best mother I can be to my children. I’m different because I always put myself in someone else shoes and treat them how I will like to be treated.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up in my household was hard. I witness a lot and seen my mother go through slot. We didn’t have much, but I witnessed my mother bust her butt to make it happy. I was spoiled by my parents; I got away with a lot and depend on my parents a lot. Personally, I was goofy. I love smiling and making people laugh, even at a young age. I love dancing. I have been dancing since I was a little girl. Dancing kept me alive and feel beautiful.
