Today we’d like to introduce you to LaBridgette Levi.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It really started when I was in middle school, just really doing desserts for family gatherings. Once I started High School, I wanted to be in the culinary class, I was super excited to begin. But I would really say it took someone very special in my life to see my potential and my worth to really push me to started my own business.
It was hard at first but having that support and help from my special someone was a plus. I’m grateful that when he did come into my life to really push me and to focus on myself and dessert, nothing couldn’t stop me.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all but I’m not perfect. Some of my struggles along the way were people telling me that my prices were too high and people try to bring my business down and my confidence down because I’m a small business. People tried to say I wasn’t worthy of a business or writing bad review under my hard work but my work shows itself I’m all worth it. It took my man to really talk to me about running a business it’s not going to be easy just keep pushing through it all it will all pay off in end just keep working and keep that pretty smile on your face.
Please tell us about Levi’s Treats.
Levi’s Treats makes Chocolate covered Strawberries, Cupcakes, Cakepops, Cookies, Chocolate covered Oreos, Pretzels, Rice Crispy Treats, and Custom Cakes. I specialize in Chocolate covered Strawberries and Custom Cakes but I’m known for my Chocolate covered Strawberries. I’m most proud of as a businesswoman is learning from the feedback I get from my clients that have did business with me. What sets me apart from others, “ I listen to client in detail, I’m patient but most of all I have a good heart and help as much as I can for anyone who wants to do business with me”.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
To be honest, being in the kitchen with my grandma’s learning how to cook and bake it’s one of childhood memories I really do cherish the most of all.
