Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacey Walker.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Lacey began her Real Estate career in 2008 working with developers in Multi-family and Commercial Real Estate helping in marketing, sales training, event planning, corporate training and more across the United States. Her first major commercial project was CITYCENTRE, followed by working with developers across the country to increase their sales, social media presence and increase revenue across all portfolios in multiple regions. She then left Corporate America in 2018 and obtained her License to begin to help past and future clients with their personal Real Estate goals in selling their home, leases, purchases, new construction, Airbnb renovations and management along with investments. There was another new focus too, she wanted the opportunity to start her family and bring her wealth of knowledge to people.
She has been awarded top sales awards with each company she has worked under including “Top Sales, Core Value, #1 Sales Team in TX, etc.” Each award bringing her recognition and expertise to better assist her clients in any way.
Lacey’s multifaceted career and special interest in all things Real Estate elevates her passion for people while helping with all their Real Estate needs. She can work as fast or slow as needed, meeting expectations, setting them and communicating effectively from start to finish. Her high energy, kindness and marketing background help her stand out from the crowd, along with the continued support from her family, friends and clients who use her time and time again.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, struggles along the way include in 2013 getting a phone call at my desk while working at Midway Companies in CITYCENTRE with my father on the other line “Your mom has stage 4 cancer.” I then made the difficult decision to quit my role there to tend to my family, get my mother into treatment, assist in my family martial arts business I had help run for 8 years prior and secure their future, along with helping my family navigate this unsteady news.
I also then had to shift my priorities and find new balance with family always in the forefront and work next, I was able to find a new position with The Dinerstein Cos. and then later on take on my own personal real estate.
I also had other challenges like who to choose to work with – navigating the support and type of people I wanted to be around. I’m thankful to have worked with The Mike Seder Team for 5 years and learn from them, be a top producer for them and have long lasting relationships with mentors who are excited to have seen my new challenge, starting my own team, just this year I’ve had 8 agents over 2024 come and go, and challenge me in new ways while still seeing them succeed in their new career as agents. Being a mentor is very challenging but also very regarding.
Real estate is a wonderful and rewarding career but challenges come in all shapes and forms, whether it be a client challenge or a transaction challenge, I always have the mindset that it will workout, it’s just a matter of how.
The markets change, the needs change of clients or life happens, but God is always with me, my family always supports me and I’m so thankful for the colleagues and friends I’ve met along the way at each company to help make the work environment so wonderful.

Some fun facts is I also run a Chuck Norris Martial Arts school with my father in The Woodlands, TX.
I have the same birthday as Chuck Norris and my all time idol, Carrie Underwood.
I am a twin. I love to travel. I love my amazing husband who I met in the same field who does construction in multifamily.
I have a secret talent of hosting and throwing amazing parties for my Loved ones, especially my almost 4 year old.
I genuinely just love to help people, not just in my career but in my life – helping is ingrained in me like the blood running through my veins. Need me to bring you dinner, need a friend to talk to, need to whip up a charcuterie board or need a problem solved – I’m your girl.
